Important information for our guestsIn accordance with the laws and regulations in force on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016), we hereby inform you that any information you give us will be treated in a clear and correct way, in respect of the law, and that your privacy and rights will be fully respected.Data processing makes use of IT tools and is carried out in order to confirm your accommodation and any other facilities you may have requested and to provide these services. This information is needed to finalise and implement your contract, and your permission is not required unless specific, sensitive data is involved. Should you refuse to give us your personal data, we will be unable to confirm your booking or the facilities you have requested. Normally we have no further need for this information once you check out, but some data may or will have to be kept in the following cases:”Consolidation Act on public safety laws” (art. 109 of Royal Decree no. 773 dated 18.6.1931) by which for safety reasons we must provide the Police with any personal data concerning our guests, according to the provisions of Decree by the Ministry of Home Affairs dated 7 January 2013.Providing us with your personal data is compulsory, and your consent is not needed; should you refuse, you will not be able to stay in our hotel. We do not keep the personal data acquired by us for these purposes unless you give your consent for us to do so as states in point 4. It will only be used for administrative, accounting and tax purposes, and your consent is not necessary.Your data will be processed by us and persons authorised by us and will only be notified to outsiders for legal purposes.Should you refuse to give us the information required, we will not be able to provide you with the facilities you have requested.The information acquired by us will be kept for the time period allowed by the laws in force (10 years, or more if it is required for tax purposes) and used to make your booking easier should you decide to stay at our hotel again. You are free to with draw your consent at any time, in which case we will keep your personal data for a maximum of 2 years and used when you decide to book our hotel again, for the above purposes and in order for you to receive text messages and telephone calls during your stay. Your consent is required for this.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, and your personal data will not be used after you leave. Should we wish to inform you of any special offers or bring you up to date with the latest information concerning the facilities we provide, the information will be kept for a maximum of 2 years, and will not be notified to outsiders; you are free to withdraw your consent at any time.
We would inform you that the new European Regulation grants you certain rights, for example the right to access or modify the information you have given us, the right to cancel or deny its use and the right of data portability, if and when applicable (articles 15 and 22 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016). According to the laws in force, you have the right to complain to the Supervisory Authority.
